Getting Outside: Birdwatching in Kirkland

Birdwatching, hiking, getting into the outside - you don’t have to go far from Kirkland's downtown to catch a glimpse of some spectacular wildlife. Birders love Juanita Bay Park, a unique park where wildlife and urban dwellers alike can co-exist. The Eastside Park Rangers in affiliation with the Eastside Audubon Society offer interpretive tours the first Sunday and third Tuesday of every month. Each season brings a new group of birds and wildlife to experience, not to mention all the flora. Come and play!
